the opposite of procrastination.
Starting is the hardest part.
Getting the ball rolling can seem like a fight against nature. But once there is momentum, it’s hard to stop.
Don’t underestimate the simple tasks.
They have the ability to build momentum up or down. They can boost confidence and satisfaction in the short run or pile up over time.
Often enough, I ‘snooze’ things for the reason it’s simple enough to do later, while I bite off a task more meatier. But in the end of the day it’s pretty defeating feeling I didn’t get a single task done.
Procrastination is like masturbation. You only stop after you fucked yourself.
Idiom
If not now, then when?
Somethings are unavoidable, and eventual. So what benefit do we gain by pushing tasks, aside?
The worst feeling is failing, knowing you could have tried harder.
If you are going attempt something, do it with all your heart. Leave it all out there. No regrets.
