Hustle

Work smart, not hard.

Be effective, not busy.

The harder you grip the stick, the harder it is to hit the ball.

It’s a marathon, not a sprint.

Maintaining sustainable work habits is more effective than frantic sprints. It keeps me efficient and free from burnout.

In jogging, it’s much easier to focus on the horizon. I run longer and more efficiently when just focusing on my current form, than obsessing on progress and result.

I choose a lazy person to do a hard job. Because a lazy person will find an easy way to do it.

Failure isn’t from a lack of sheer will and determination.

‘Hustle Culture’ is a romanticized idea of working hard, for the sake of working hard. Major self-help influencers use this to oversimplify success, providings spurts of dopamine in lieu of any personal, meaningful advice. They became rich by selling the idea of getting rich.

Be more deliberate with your time.

Don’t the action fake and stop working on things that actually don’t contribute to overall success. Things like hyper optimization and organization, can distracts us from the real, unglamorous work. Maintaining a clean, aesthetically pleasing workspace isn’t going to get our taxes done.
