  • Diffuse intermittently, typically 30 to 60 minutes on, then 30 to 60 minutes off.
  • Not with children in the room.

  • cedarwood
  • fir
  • grapefruit
  • lavender
  • lemon
  • spearmint
  • tangerine

Avoid

Diffuse with caution, because they’re mucous membrane irritants:

  • bay
  • cinnamon bark or leaf
  • clove bud or leaf
  • lemongrass
  • peppermint
  • thyme
