Take a moment to chew and savor.
Make food a part of life and happiness, not merely survival.
Appreciate the food we eat.
Food is more enjoyable when you take a moment to savor the marvel of progress it takes to get grub from farm to your plate. A real privilege. The opposite, thoughtlessness, leads to a shameful waste.
Read the labels.
Nutrition facts are there for a reason. Avoid nefarious chemicals and excess. Take sovereignty over your own health.
Good nutrition leads to good mental health.
Physical health affects our development and mood in life. And it all starts with nutrition.
Always in moderation.
Eat less salt. Eat less sugar. Blah blah blah… Yet, moderation goes both ways. Don’t feel bad about consuming MSG. The body craves what the body needs.
Watch the heart.
Even if I don’t have a heart-attack/stroke, we can still develop dementia and etc.
