It’s ok to have emotions.

Emotions don’t make you weak.  Being able to express them, even in the face of discomfort, makes us strong, experienced and better at life overall. 


Emotions inform your life.

It shows us what’s important. 


Don’t be afraid to register your emotions.

We are here for a short time, why not experience the full spectrum of life?

If you find something funny, learn to laugh out loud.  When you are moved by something, stop and be moved by it.  When  something is inspiring, wallow in it.


Everyone has bad days.

Be kind to ourselves and others. Be patient. Don’t jump to conclusions. And don’t take things personally.


Manage your emotions, so they don’t manage you.

Simply hopeful just makes us limbic. Humans are capable of metacognition, being aware of your emotions and your thinking. We can choose to be grateful, notwithstanding our emotions. If we find schedule gratitude into our lives, we’ll naturally be happier.
